Accepting Maya payments
Maya (formerly PayMaya) is the second major e-wallet in the Philippines, used for online and in-store payments.
How a customer pays
- 01The customer chooses the wallet at checkout.
- 02They confirm the payment in the wallet app.
- 03You receive a signed notification when the payment completes.
Integration note
Offering both GCash and Maya covers the two wallets most Filipino customers use.
Through CVPay
- Pay-in methods include VietQR, MoMo, ZaloPay and Viettel Money in Vietnam, and GCash, Maya, GrabPay and QR Ph in the Philippines.
- Pay-outs can be sent to local bank accounts in Vietnam and the Philippines, or as USDT to a wallet.
- One merchant account and one API cover all three currencies.
- Payment status changes are sent as webhook callbacks, and every callback is signed.
- Merchants are onboarded after a KYB review. A sandbox environment is opened first, and the sandbox is isolated from production.
Which methods are enabled on a specific merchant account is confirmed during onboarding.
